Fanboys DVD
I designed the menus for Kyle Newman’s Fanboys, released by the Weinstein Company. The set includes motion menus, “jump to lightspeed” transitions, and lots of still menus for the abundance of extras. Being a fanboy, I was thrilled to work on this project. The main menu design is very simple, influenced by Star Wars toy packaging themes that have remained fairly consistent from the late 1970’s through today. For a few of the still menus, the look was influenced by the classic Star Wars poster art by Drew Struzen… If the time had been available, I would have probably done custom paintings for the still menus(because I’m a total nerd).
